How to Find and Copy an Instagram Post, Video, or Reel URL
On Desktop
- Go to instagram.com and log in to your account.
- Navigate to the post, video, or reel you want to share.
- Click on the post to open it fully.
- In the browser’s address bar, you will see the URL of the post, which looks like https://www.instagram.com/p/XXXXXXXXX/.
- Click the address bar to highlight the entire URL.
- Right-click the highlighted URL and select Copy, or press Ctrl + C (Windows) or Cmd + C (Mac).
On the Instagram Mobile App
- Open the Instagram app and log in if needed.
- Find the post, video, or reel you want to share.
- Tap the three-dot menu (•••) at the top right corner of the post.
- Select Link or Copy Link. This will copy the post’s URL to your clipboard.
- To paste the link, tap and hold any text field and select Paste.
